Destined to Become an Editor?

For some reason, late last night, a memory came to me of a bus journey into town, travelling alone, when I was fourteen years old.

Displayed on the bus was an armed forces recruitment poster which included the famous phrase, YOU’RE COUNTRY NEEDS YOU!

Needless to say, my first visit on alighting from the bus was the local recruitment office to point out their error!
