J.C.Jarvis is a pseudonym of Jim Chatterton. I grew up in Derbyshire, England, and from a very early age I always had a fascination with history. As a teenager I could always be found with my head buried in a book on WW2 or the Tudors. Far and away my favourite subject at school was history.
Most of my adult career after leaving the British Army was spent in the I.T field, but I had always harbored ambitions of writing a book. I finally fulfilled my dream when I self-published 5 non-fiction books, and I was hooked.
I had carried the basic premise of the John Howard story in my head for decades. Finally, I plucked up the courage to write it all down.

I love history and the Regency period in particular. I grew up on a diet of Jane Austen, Charlotte and Emile Bronte, and Georgette Heyer. Later I put my love of reading to good use and gained a 1st class honours degree in literature.
I now write traditional Regency romance novels. I like to think my characters, though flawed, are likeable, strong, and true to the period. I have just completed my first series, Bachelor Brides. The books are linked by characters introduced in each. They can be read as stand-alone novels, but are best read in order.
I live by the sea in Plymouth, England, with my partner, Dave. I like reading, sailing, wine, getting up early to watch the sunrise in summer, and long quiet evenings by the wood burner in our cabin on the cliffs in Cornwall in winter.

Zach J Brodsky spent much of his youth traipsing around the world where he was fascinated by observing people and creating absurd back stories in his mind about their lives and with it he created an endless list of characters. He roamed around East and Southern Africa in the early 1990s sneaking into what was Zaire to spend some time with mountain gorillas, and later travelled extensively in India, Nepal, South East Asia and the West Coast of the USA. Zach experimented with traditional employment for many years before deciding to base himself in Bangkok where he began to observe all the oddities that Bangkok has to offer. Ultimately motivating him to try and patch some characters together in creating his first full novel “Bangkok Delusions”.

Another wonderful and humorous instalment in the Guesthouse on the Green series as Mammy and Moira travel Vietnam.
I love the series and can't wait for book four!
A quick but emotional read - reading about the cruelty to the dog was heartbreaking but this was a lovely tale of the love and healing that animals can bring to our lives.
I would have given five stars but for the missed typos - a few t...
I get the impression that this could be a nice story but I've had to give up after forcing myself to go as far as 15% of the way through. If this novel has ever been near a remotely professional editor then the author was conned.
Chapte...
Another very enjoyable story but with a few niggles, hence the four stars rather than five. Maybe it's because I was tired but the editing issues grated on me more than in the first story and, do people really generally believe that 'ear...
