A Busy Month!

Another edit completed this morning.  What a wonderful variety this month.

March started with the finishing of the first in the new DI Hogarth series by Solomon Carter – The Secret Fear, a detective novel set in Southend-on-Sea on the south coast of England.

This was followed by Green Door, an enjoyable change of genre with a lovely fantasy sci-fi novel by Tony Harmsworth.

Next was Time of Death, the latest in the fast-paced DI Miller series by John Carson which involves me learning the Scottish slang sprinkled throughout the banter between the characters!

Then it was onto Australia with Sharon M. Thompson’s revenge thriller, Vengeful, due for release 26th March.  A few new additions to my vocabulary with this one!

And today I finished the edit on a quirky autobiographical story about a boy growing up in South Africa – yet more additions to my vocabulary!

Now it’s time to move on to The Promise, a romance by Michelle Vernal.  This novel begins in New Zealand and the newly edited version will be available shortly.  Michelle writes beautifully and I loved the first two books in her new The Guesthouse on the Green series, O’Mara’s and Moira Lisa Smile.  These stories are reminiscent of Maeve Binchy but with added Irish vernacular!
