Another brilliant series by Solomon Carter featuring DI Hogarth.

Full of twists and turns, DI Hogarth is bending the rules to breaking point, trying to solve a series of crimes and cope with an irascible boss who is seemingly going off the rails.  Add to this the complications of his relationships, past and present, with the women in his life and once again, Solomon has written a fast-paced series that is difficult to put down and keeps you guessing until the end.

Available now on Amazon.

A slightly belated update on the amazing novels I’ve had the pleasure to work on during April.

The month began with the second in Solomon Carter’s, soon to be released latest series featuring DI Hogarth, who as usual is in the thick of things – The Secret Dawn.  The first series featuring DI Hogarth is available as a four-book set. The Darkest Series – DI Hogarth – Solomon Carter

This was followed by the first in a new detective series – more information when I have it.

A complete change of scene was the first draft of a memoir about the trials and tribulations faced by a young woman in her struggle to raise and keep her family of ultimately eight children together in a time of great hardship – updates on Agnes in Bloom nearer publication.

I then had the pleasure of working on a novella by Hilary Pugh, a first time author. This prelude to a new series is now available free via her website – Bagatelle – Hilary Pugh – FREE copy.

The brilliant sci-fi novel, Federation, by Tony Harmsworth will also be available soon – again, more details to follow.

Moira and Mammy travel to Vietnam in Michelle Vernal’s third novel in the O’Mara’s – Guesthouse on the Green series – available to pre-order now. What Goes on Tour – Michelle Vernal

And the month ended with the third in the revenge thriller series by Sharon M Thompson, also soon to be published.  Secrets and Vengeful the first two in the series are available now.

The wink of an eye and life can change for ever.

Rosalie fell in love when Piers winked at her across the top of a grand piano.

But soon there was a distance of 11,000 miles between them. And a lot more besides…

Can a Scottish detective with a limp mend Rosalie’s broken heart?

A great explanation from Simon Cann on the benefits of working with an editor.  A superb commentary on how my role as an editor can help an author.

After a very busy few weeks, I’ve made it back to my website!

I’ve just finished editing the latest novel by John Carson, the soon to be published The October Project – written by a Scot in New York state, set in America, and edited by a Brit whilst in India!

Another fast-paced thriller featuring Max Doyle.
