The Black & Gold series is full of action and difficult, if not impossible, to put down.
Books one to seven in the series were published before I started working with Solomon, although I’ve since re-edited the entire series, and book nine, the finale, is on the way soon!
It’s time for a new type of hero…and a new kind of justice. Meet Simon, the Man in the Mask, the dark star of a thrilling new short read series… BLACK & GOLD
In a ghetto occupied by a ruthlessly violent youth gang, one man is ready to stand up for the silent majority, ready to do whatever it takes to claim back the night. One man… One mask… with enough righteous anger to bring the world crashing down upon their heads.
This man has no superpowers. He doesn’t wear a cape. He lives in a bruised and battered world just like the one outside your window. He has watched his hometown fall into the clutches of deadly crime and corruption. And he can stand no more. Tonight, the evil young gang making the headlines are about to face their judgement.
But the vigilante is not alone. Discovering that the troublesome young blonde has followed him into deadly danger, the man in the mask has a dilemma. Can he survive the onslaught while fighting her another’s life?
BLACK & GOLD is the first instalment of the Black & Gold short read series – an epic Vigilante Justice Action and Crime Thriller Adventure. It’s fast paced and action packed to the very end!
Each book is a fast-paced short read designed to be read in one thrilling sitting.
A busy week last week finishing two novels for Solomon.
The first was the final in the Harder They Fall series – a great finale, and the book will be available soon.
Unexpectedly, the day I returned the manuscript, I received a second for editing – the eighth in the short-read series, Black & Gold and this is now available – FREE this weekend!
Melanie has edited at least 20 of my books. In that time her services have proven to be professional, reliable and cost effective. She is approachable throughout a project and she is consistent in her work. Melanie also offers helpful insights to ensure your books reach the reader in the best shape possible. Her work often picks up on any technical and plotting issues which is vital to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for the reader. Highly recommended.
Another wonderful and humorous instalment in the Guesthouse on the Green series as Mammy and Moira travel Vietnam.
I love the series and can't wait for book four!
A quick but emotional read - reading about the cruelty to the dog was heartbreaking but this was a lovely tale of the love and healing that animals can bring to our lives.
I would have given five stars but for the missed typos - a few t...
I get the impression that this could be a nice story but I've had to give up after forcing myself to go as far as 15% of the way through. If this novel has ever been near a remotely professional editor then the author was conned.

Another very enjoyable story but with a few niggles, hence the four stars rather than five. Maybe it's because I was tired but the editing issues grated on me more than in the first story and, do people really generally believe that 'ear...
